English indie pioneers WU LYF have officially announced their long‑awaited second album, A Wave That Will Never Break, marking their first full‑length release in 15 years. The album is set to arrive on April 10, 2026, much to the excitement of fans and critics alike who’ve watched the Manchester band’s comeback unfold over the past year.

Produced by Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3 fame, the new record follows a series of teasers and singles that hinted at a reinvigorated creative chapter for the group. The first teaser track released from the record, “Love Your Fate,” sets an urgent and introspective tone, showcasing the band’s unique blend of atmospheric indie rock and raw emotional intensity.

The album consists of seven tracks, including Robe of Glory, Letting Go, and At the End of the Day (It Is What It Is) — each promising a continuation of the sound that made their debut, Go Tell Fire to the Mountain, a cult favourite back in 2011.  Unlike their earlier work, A Wave That Will Never Break will be released exclusively through the band’s L Y F community platform, bypassing major streaming services in favour of a more direct relationship with listeners — a move that underscores WU LYF’s independent ethos.

In addition to the album news, the band has expanded their international tour dates with new European shows added alongside earlier North American stops, giving fans across the globe a chance to experience their return live.

After years of silence, WU LYF’s A Wave That Will Never Break heralds a bold new chapter — one that honours their past while pushing their sound forward into exciting, uncharted territory.
